Delicious Quiche Recipe
Quiche was definitely not be the first thing that came to mind when thinking of kid-friendly meals. But to my surprise, all 6 of my children loved it!
This versatile dish can be a delightful treat that even the pickiest eaters will love. With a flaky crust, creamy filling, and endless possibilities for customization, quiche is not only delicious but also nutritious. Let me share the recipe that had my children asking for seconds!
Ingredients
6 eggs
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup half and half
1/2 cup Sausage
1/4 cup chopped spinach
1/4 cup diced onions
Seasonings ( I used garlic, paprika, salt and pepper)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
If using a store-bought pie crust, place it in a pie dish and crimp the edges. If using a homemade crust, roll it out and place it in the pie dish. Par-bake the homemade crust for 12 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients except the seasoning until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste or any other seasonings you like.

Sprinkle some extra cheese on top of the quiche if you'd like.
Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
Once baked, remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
